Privacy Policy
Tap Tap Words (“the App”) is published by Christopher Kreymborg. The App is a spelling game for early readers, designed to be used by children with adult supervision and listed in the App Store Kids Category.
Information we collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any other personal data.
The App stores a small amount of non-personal preference data —
your chosen word-difficulty filter, letter case, and haptics setting
— locally on your device using the operating system’s
standard preferences mechanism (UserDefaults on iOS,
SharedPreferences on Android). This data never leaves
your device.
Third parties
The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or social-network SDKs. Nothing about your use of the App is shared with any third party because nothing is collected in the first place.
Network use
The App does not require an internet connection to function and does not contact any servers we operate.
Children’s privacy
The App is intended for children and complies with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the protections that apply to processing the personal data of children (sometimes referred to as “GDPR-K”). Because we collect no personal information at all, there is nothing to share, disclose, or delete under either framework.
Settings inside the App are protected by an “adults only” math-problem screen so that a child cannot change them by accident.
In-app purchases & ads
The App contains no in-app purchases and no advertising of any kind.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the App ever changes how it handles data, we will update this policy and the link to it inside the App before that change ships.
